Resitech HD Epoxy Repair Mortar
Description
Resitech HD Epoxy Repair Mortar is a three component system comprising epoxy resin, curing agent and a blend of graded silica sands and fillers.
It is designed for the thin film repair of concrete floors.
Provided the areas to be repaired are to prepared and primed correctly, the adhesive strength of the bond will exceed the adhesive strength of the concrete.
Surface Preparation
The area of the repair must be clean, dry, sound and free of any oil, grease or other surface contamination which could impair adhesion.
The concrete should be abraded with mechanical wire brushes, needle guns or other scarifying equipment to reveal clean concrete.
All dust and debris should be vacuumed away.
Mixing and Application
Add packs A & B together and mix thoroughly.
Paint the blended resins onto the prepared concrete ensuring it is well primed.
Gradually add the graded filler into the remaining resins ensuring it is well mixed and wetted out.
Pour the blended material onto the primed concrete to be repaired, compacting and finishing with a steel float.
Resitech HD Epoxy Repair Mortar will cure sufficiently to accept light trafficking after 24 hours and heavy traffic after 48 hours.
Coverage Rate
A 5.0kg unit of Resitech HD Epoxy Repair Mortar will cover approximately 0.3m2 at 5mm depth.
