Optus Block Sealer

Description

Optus Block Sealer is an air-drying sealer for block paving.

Composition/information of ingredients

Chemical nature: Approximately 25% aqueous dispersion of a copolymer based on n-butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate.

Hazards indentification

First aid measures

  • General advice: remove contaminated clothing.
  • If inhaled: keep patient calm, move to fresh air and summon medical help.
  • Skin contact: wash thoroughly with soap and water.
  • Contact with eyes: wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open. Consult an eye specialist.
  • Ingestion: immediately rinse mouth and then drink plenty of water, summon physician.

Fire fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, dry extinguishing media, foam, carbon dioxide (C02)

Accidental release measures

After spillage:

  • large quantities should be pumped into containers, soak up remainder with absorbent material.
  • small spillages can be swilled away with water. Waste water must be disposed of correctly.
